Hi! My name is Darragh and I am a Youth Advisory Panel member. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology from University College Dublin (UCD), later achieving a Master’s in Clinical Neuroscience from National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG). I currently work as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the National Centre for Inherited Metabolic Disorders, Mater Hospital. I also assist the Neurology (Stroke Clinical Trials Network Ireland – SCTNI) and Cardiology Departments with various research. Papers and abstracts of studies I have worked on have been published in journals such as the Irish Medical Journal (IMJ), and Journal of Inherited Metabolic Disorders (JIMD). I am passionate about the neurobiology of mental health, reducing the stigma attached to mental health, as well as how technology can be implemented to improve mental health literacy and advance therapies. I hope by participating in the Mood Movement Network that I can contribute positively to these areas.
